We are a team of researchers led by Kate Thorson, Assistant Professor of Psychology at Barnard College. Our research examines human social interaction. We study how people think, feel, and behave when they interact with others, as well as how people's experiences and behaviors are influenced by their interaction partners. We study social interactions in a variety of settings and relationships, and we examine psychological, behavioral, and physiological processes as they unfold naturally over time. We are committed to training undergraduates in research, to diversifying psychological science, and to publishing robust findings with transparent methods and analyses.
